From: umwhat on 22 Feb 2010 19:08 I copied and pasted, either text or words, in an email address from a spam email and now when I write a new email and try to enter my email address in the from window those words I copied and pasted some hours ago appears there. I have copied and pasted other items since then so am wondering why is this email address in text form from the spammers email is appearing. Coincidentally the spammers email address begins with the same letter as my email address begins with,"c". The email address is a popular ISP here in New Zealand xtra.co.nz. -- ....scribble scribble scribble...

From: Ron Sommer on 23 Feb 2010 06:37 I don't understand your post. You do not put an address in the From box. You select one of the accounts that are setup in OE. Are you saying that the spam address is in the list of From accounts? Check Tools, Accounts to see if you have the spam address setup as an account. -- Ron Sommer MS MVP- Windows Live Mail "umwhat" <umwhat(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1350674B-1F01-42DC-83BC-89716A6B42B6(a)microsoft.com... > I copied and pasted, either text or words, in an email address from a spam > email and now when I write a new email and try to enter my email address > in > the from window those words I copied and pasted some hours ago appears > there. > I have copied and pasted other items since then so am wondering why is > this > email address in text form from the spammers email is appearing. > Coincidentally the spammers email address begins with the same letter as > my > email address begins with,"c". From: PA Bear [MS MVP] on 23 Feb 2010 10:40 [Is he trying to paste an address into the FROM field instead of selecting one?] Ron Sommer wrote: > I don't understand your post. > You do not put an address in the From box.
