Hi, I have the student version of Matlab which does have Symbolic Math Toolbox and I still can't get the syms thing to work. I've tried copy/pasting from the website the code and I still get an error when I put this into matlab. what am I doing wrong?

Post the SPECIFIC text of what you're trying to execute and the EXACT, FULL
text of the error message you receive when you execute that code.
