From: paolo on 11 Jan 2010 09:12 Hi, i inadvertently created a new calendar (i say "inadvertently" as i didn't do it volountarily). i am not able to sync my PDA any longer to outlook calendar, and I cannot get rid of the second calendar, the one created this morning, which is empty. is there a way to do it? if not, how can I manage the way my PDA syncs again with the first calendar? i saw several posts around with a similar question, but no response seems to be working for me
From: Diane Poremsky [MVP] on 11 Jan 2010 09:47 What type of PDA? I know iphone's (possibly anything that uses itunes to sync) can create new default calendars if not configured correctly. You can switch to a table view, such as all appointments or by category and select all, then copy to the new calendar. This will allow the items to sync but it won't change the default back to the original calendar. Closing outlook and restarting with the /resetfolders switch might fix it, but until you fix it in the sync, it might recurr. if you need help using command lines, see http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/commandlines.htm -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Poll: What version of Exchange server do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=33803 "paolo" <paolo(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:163D3036-1F07-42BD-A26E-3D19A47A59A0(a)microsoft.com... > Hi, i inadvertently created a new calendar (i say "inadvertently" as i > didn't > do it volountarily). > i am not able to sync my PDA any longer to outlook calendar, and I cannot > get rid of the second calendar, the one created this morning, which is > empty. > is there a way to do it? > if not, how can I manage the way my PDA syncs again with the first > calendar? > i saw several posts around with a similar question, but no response seems > to > be working for me
