From: Cheng Cosine on 25 May 2010 21:47 Hi: Given a polynomial eqn of single vairbale, we know that there are exactly the same number of zeros as its degree. But what about a general eqn other than polynomial; do we have any theorem to know the number of zeros? Or, at least, are there theorems helping us to decide if a given eqn of single vairable has only finite zeros or infinite ones? How about the more general case for a set of eqns having multiple independent variables? Thanks,
