hai.. This is karthik from India.. My project is based on 3d reconstruction.. FOR preprocessing, i need to map a area sampled CT image to point sampled image..

MAPPING OF AREA SAMPLING TO POINT SAMPLING has to be done.. could you give me some idea regarding this.. my email id is dhilipchandru(a)gmail.com

No. I deal with industrial CT images every day and I can't even
figure out what you want to do.
