Far better to get an introductory text on assembly language (online, or from a library). When you have a bit of confidence in your understanding of how assembly programs may be constructed, you could try disassembling a _simple_ program written in a high-level language - although, if anything, this would probably teach you more about how compilers work than about assembly language per se.
