Hy, one of my two DCs has broken due a hardware failure and I have an
old image disk (8 months back) that is OK, I build the image in a
virtual environment (ESX) and run it ok, but obvious without nic
plugged.
I have some doubts if when I plug the network, the old DC will
synchronize with other healthy DC, what consequences can I have?, what
do you think?
Thanks

If it's older than the tombstone lifetime (usualy 180days) then you should
not attempt to re-introduce it to the domain. Just promote a new instance to
be your replacement.

Hello edus,

Images or snapshots are a NOT supported way to backup a DC, DON't use them
for restore.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875495

Install a new DC to the existing domain AFTER removing the crashed DC according
to:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555846/en-us
