Hi all,
looking through the Technical guide for this computer I see a 'display port'
next to the 'video connector'.

What might this 'display port' be used for?
Dare I dream that it might provide the function to have extended desktop?

Thanks Peter, you have saved me from ... literally .. seconds of internet
search ;)
I should have spent less time reading the manual and more time on basic
searching.
In fact .... I did not search on 'display port' as I figured it was too
generic a term .. but as you have highlighted there is a specific technology
which has that term applied to it. .. now I know.

I think I'll go mad and splash out on a display adapter to vga adapter .. I
think there is a very good chance it will allow me to work with 'extended
desktop'.
