From: nuti on 19 Jan 2006 00:19 hi folks, do i need to hav dnscmd.exe in order to use dnscmd. im trying to add dns aliases using dnscmd command. but it says that dnscmd is not a recognized internal or external command. so,do i need to hav dnscmd.exe? cheers, nuti

From: Jabez Gan [MVP] on 19 Jan 2006 01:17 and an addtional information. To use dnscmd.exe, copy the file from the .CAB (extract it out) and place this file in the windows\system32 folder. Once done, you should be able to run the command dnscmd.exe in Command Prompt.
