The standard was "reaffirmed" in 1999. See
http://www.franz.com/~smh/J13/. After 2004 they apparently decided to
declare ANSI CL as "stabilized" which means they don't need the annual
meetings and everything is reaffirmed automatically. CL is really dead,
I mean, stable now. It probably also means that ANSI has deleted all
records that are older than 5 years and that there's no hope to ever see
the legal statement that the TC made to give ANSI the copyright.

.... I heard a sadly cute story about the subprime mortgage mess.
Bank goes to foreclose on a house because owner stopped paying
mortgage. Owner asks bank to show property deed. Bank lost it in all
the securitization. Owner stays in home.
