In my project. changing the duration to weeks, only summary tasks
duration changing to weeks. but tasks duration not changing to weeks
yyyy???

If not Project 2010, try Tools > Macro > Macros > Format_Duration.

From what I've heard that macro doesn't ship with 2010, but may be present
if you installed 2010 over an existing 2007 implementation.
