Hello guys. I have a big problem about goodness of fit with chi-square method.
I want to create program goodness of fit with chi-square method use Matlab.
1.There may of you that know how to create program goodness of fit with chi-square method use Matlab
2. If i have
A = 3 6 8 11 9 8 6 3 1
if the elements of A less than five then the element is combined with other elements so that every element of A no less than five.
A to become
A = 9 8 11 9 8 10
I don't know how to create it.
So help me please.

your description differs from your example...
- do you mean less than seven(?)...
3+6 => 9
6+3+1 => 10
- what do you mean by ...combined with other(?) elements...

for the first part:
- if you own the stats tbx, look at
