Hello,
I have a windows 2003 doimain and have starting using windows 7. When I log
into a windows 2003 or windows xp machine, I am prompted that my domain
password is due to expire. However, when I log into the windows 7 machines,
there is no prompt or warning. How can I change it so it gives me a warning?

thanks.

Unless your Windows 7 machines are joined to the domain, they will be
subject to their own password expiry rules, not those of the domain
controller.

But then you would not be able to log in with the domain account either.

There are 10 types of people, those that understand binary and those that don't.

Hello Simon.,

Make sure the computer is located in an OU where the GPO is linked to. Also
run rsop.msc on the workstation if the following setting is applied:
Computer configuration, windows settings, security settings, local policies,
security options, "Interactive logon: Prompt user to change password before
expiration

Best regards
