From: Stefan Ulrich on 27 Mar 2005 12:47 Hi Ramesh As I wrote in my last mail, I erased all registry entries containing the word "Koolmoves", so I can only post you my registry backup. #4 shows \\Nyllw, the name of the other network computer. I vaguely remember trying to open the Koolmoves application by the LAN at Nyllw (Win98) a year ago, without installing it at UliXP (WinXP), but that failed. In the end I had two instances of Koolmoves installed at UliXP. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\KOOLMO~1.EXE] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\KOOLMO~1.EXE\shell] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\KOOLMO~1.EXE\shell\open] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\KOOLMO~1.EXE\shell\open\command] @="\\\\Nyllw\\KOOLMOVES V2\\KOOLMO~1.EXE \"%1\"" Another registry entry I threw out: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Map Network Drive MRU] "a"="\\\\Nyllw\\MELODY" "MRUList"="ba" "b"="\\\\Nyllw\\VBS BEISPIEL" I still don't understand why, as an example, doubleclicking on a *.txt file needed 7 seconds launching the editor, with mistakes in the registry for completely different applications like Koolmoves or Melody or VBS Beispiel. Again, thanks a lot for your help. "Ramesh, MS-MVP" <ramesh(a)online.mvps.org> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:eo1K2dtMFHA.2704(a)TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... > Very welcome Stefan.
