From: Oleg Komarov on 2 Jul 2010 10:58 Dear all, I can't "find" (in the release notes) when find started supporting the 'first'/'last' option. Oleg

Unfortunately TMW does not include the date/release number of changes in the file headers. See also the lower half of this thread, although Us found it tedious: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/newsreader/view_thread/278990 Jan

I think that a history section with a brief description on the major changes, in addition to the revision date, is mandatory. Oleg

Please send this to support(a)mathworks.com also. It is worth to give such important ideas a voice. I cannot find the releasenotes for the former releases in the web anymore. Where are they? BTW. The support and the newsgroup are the only sources to get this information. I thought about creating a public database on my personal web pages. But to be honest, this is not my business. It is much more efficient to ask TMW to run diff on the help sections of all toolbox functions since Matlab 5.3.
From: Jan Simon on 2 Jul 2010 12:07 Yep, I got it after more and more hysterical clicking in the docs: http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/rn/rn_intro.html I really expect a link on the main support page. Jan
