Where (in firefox) can I specify the amount of TCP sessions to be used
for downloading a
single HTML page.

Use about:config and look for setting: network.http.max-
connections which is defaulted to 30. If that isn't what you want
just filter on "connect" or "network". There's nothing explicitly
labeled tcp. I hope this helps you along in the right direction.
