From: oldLearner57 on 27 Mar 2010 00:39 hi community can anybody kindly guide me on this: while typing a set of document, my page number at the footer, at certain pages, the number does not run in series format, an example, while typing at page 84 and when Word automatically wrap through next page, the page number should be 85 but it went bersek, it shows page 81. what i did was, i converted the normal page break to section break and re format the page number to be page 85. this happen not only at this page, i experienced it while at page 66 and next page showed page 51. ???? kindly assist me on this, and I am using Word 2007 thanks in advance for the kind assistance given 10s! :) -- oldLearner57
From: Doug Robbins - Word MVP on 27 Mar 2010 03:56 Are you using a laptop with a touch pad mouse thing. If so, maybe you inadvertently scrolled back through the document. The only other alternative is that there are Section Breaks in the document and the page numbering has been formatted to be other than "Continue from previous section" -- Hope this helps.
