From: rocco on 1 Mar 2010 13:24 Hello Access 2007 here, 2 quick questions: 1) how can I manage comboboxes do NOT change background on exit? It seems that by default, once you exit the control it kind of make its background transparent, even if either backcolor or backstyle values didn't change, I ckecked. 2) I'm noticing that after starting typing in an unbound form, the labels text seems kind of bolder, not looking "regular" as when the form opened. I read some years ago something about issues regarding memory licking that can cause weird *things*. Does anyone know something more accurate? thanks, rocco
From: Allen Browne on 1 Mar 2010 23:05 These are known issues in Access 2007. Firstly, make sure you have installed Service Pack 2 for Office 2007: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=b444bf18-79ea-46c6-8a81-9db49b4ab6e5&displaylang=en Then apply this hotfix as well to solve #1: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/974995 If #2 doesn't get solved along the way, see if using a different font in the labels helps. -- Allen Browne - Microsoft MVP.
