These computers will be used for adult students. I seem to remember reading somewhere that it was OK to also install one or two "copies" for home. I'd like to upgrade two instructors home units to XP Pro (now running Win98SE and Win2000). Is it OK to do this? No. Towards the fact you paid for 5 licenses and get to use the Operating System on 5 systems? No. Microsoft Office does have (or did) a license that allowed you to install a copy on your work machine as well as your laptop... But Windows XP (the operating system) has no such agreement. You pay for a number or unlimited. If you got a Volume License (academic, select, whatever) for 5 machines - then your limit is 5 licensed installations of Windows XP. -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html Submitted via EggHeadCafe - Software Developer Portal of Choice Get Started with SQLite and Visual Studio http://www.eggheadcafe.com/tutorials/aspnet/20f7912e-6fa7-40eb-b31b-b6f46d4f2c6a/get-started-with-sqlite-a.aspx
