From: Anthony Campbell on 7 Oct 2009 05:51 I had get-player working well but today (after possibly ill-advised upgrade) I get: INFO: Checking existence of audiodescribed version INFO: No specified modes (iphone, flashhigh, flashstd, flashnormal) available for this programme with version 'audiodescribed' (try modes:) I've tried various modes as suggested but no luck. Anyone know a solution? Anthony -- Anthony Campbell - ac(a)acampbell.org.uk Microsoft-free zone - Using Debian GNU/Linux http://www.acampbell.org.uk (blog, book reviews, and sceptical articles)

Meanwhile the author of the program kindly pointed me in the right direction -- I'm abroad, using a proxy server, and I needed tell get_iplayer to use the proxy. It's working well now.
