running gtk-gnutella, it stops with the message
"/usr/lib/libpangoxft-1.0.so.0 undefined symbol g_intern_static_string"

I have removed libpango*, reinstalled, but no difference.

I had this happen on my slamd64 box, after updating to -current
on 8/17/2006. Fred Emmott's changelog had something like the following:

- - Rebuilt pango with xft support - Thanks to Matt Hayes
http://bugs.slamd64.com/show_bug.cgi?id=70

According to slackware-current's changelog, pango hasn't been
updated since 5/27/2006, so I don't think PV has updated it for xft
support. you'll either need to request he update it, or roll your own
pango.

It's probably because all has been quiet on the gtk-gnutella
front. Their last stable release was before PV updated pango. I don't
know if this issue existed before the 0.96.1 release. That is the one
I'm using, and had the issue.
