From: Marc Heusser on 29 Oct 2009 03:38 I had done this before (with Mac OS X pre-Snow Leopard) and it had worked. Now I need to clone my Windows partition again to another computer and it fails with "not enough space". Using Mac OS X 10.6.1 with all the software updates from "Software update", Winclone 2.2, with a 22 GB partition that is formatted FAT32 as source (image creation works) to another Mac with a BootCamp created partition, tried various sizes from 22 to 64 GB. It always fails with the error as in http://www.twocanoes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=4768 ie "not enough space". It does resize a larger partition, but then fails with an image that it says is too large - but only in about the fifth decimal, and after obviously reducing the partion's size. The same thing happens whether I check or uncheck the "use ASR" option. The image can be mounted ok. What can I do? I urgently need this partition on the new Mac. All Macs involved are Intel, MacBook Pro and MacBook. TIA Marc -- remove bye and from mercial to get valid e-mail <http://www.heusser.com>
