I had done this before (with Mac OS X pre-Snow Leopard) and it had
worked.
Now I need to clone my Windows partition again to another computer and
it fails with "not enough space".

Using Mac OS X 10.6.1 with all the software updates from "Software
update", Winclone 2.2, with a 22 GB partition that is formatted FAT32 as
source (image creation works) to another Mac with a BootCamp created
partition, tried various sizes from 22 to 64 GB.

It always fails with the error as in
http://www.twocanoes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=4768

ie "not enough space". It does resize a larger partition, but then fails
with an image that it says is too large - but only in about the fifth
decimal, and after obviously reducing the partion's size.

The same thing happens whether I check or uncheck the "use ASR" option.
The image can be mounted ok.

What can I do? I urgently need this partition on the new Mac.
All Macs involved are Intel, MacBook Pro and MacBook.

TIA

Marc

Didn't he post that he had already tried Winclone in this
statement of his?

"Using Mac OS X 10.6.1 with all the software updates from "Software
update", Winclone 2.2, with a 22 GB partition that is formatted FAT32
as source (image creation works) to another Mac with a BootCamp created
partition, tried various sizes from 22 to 64 GB"
