good moring all,
(sorry for my languge)

i have a mb gigabyte ga-p31-s3g
and i wanned to upgreded its perfomenes
so i bout a graphic card Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB PCIe
PCI Express 2.0 X16, 128 bit
and a new memory ram set (gail 2x2gb x800 ddr2)

and a 1tb hard disk wd green
Model WD10EARS
Capacity 1000GB
Interface SATA 3.0Gb/s
Cache 64MB

currently i have a xp32bit operation and when i pluged everything, the
windows shut down everytime.
and when i egected 1 memory card i worked, and the the hdd is not
recognized, then i retuned my old pc (without the list above), and the
power tund on - but nothing else, no signal at the monitor, not bip of
the pc spiker of the memory check

what am i doing wrong?

What's the rating of that PC's power supply? How old is it?
