Hi,

When I go to a website that has a link to a recording of a piece of
music, and click on the link,
a little gray box on the far right of the URL whatchamacalllit up top
appears with the text RSS
in it and a circular arrow to the right (going clockwise if it
matters). If I click on the RSS it blinks.
THen I get this error message:

Safari can’t open the page.
Safari can’t open the page “feed://
clmu.alexanderstreet.com.ezproxy.bpl.org/feed/latest?
t=dRCMMhjRbh_0Wr0R66C3HHMb3Wb6MbM2”. The error is: “The feed could not
be loaded because the content is not in a known feed format.” (PubSub:
2) Please choose Safari > Report Bugs to Apple, note the error number,
and describe what you did before you saw this message.

So is there some RSS plugin I can get?

Help much appreciated. A wonderful world awaits if I can get this
thing working!

happy holidays!

I don't think there's a Safari plugin for this, but NetNewsWire
(http://www.newsgator.com/INDIVIDUALS/NETNEWSWIRE/) has been able to
handle every RSS feed I've ever thrown at it.

Looks to me like that just isn't a valid feed URL-- if I type it into my
RSS reader application (NetNewsWire), it doesn't work either.

If I replace "feed:" with "http:" at the beginning, it seems to work,
but requires authentication which I can't provide. But you could try that.
