From: Dionigi on 16 Mar 2010 03:21 I do not want word to make a list just because I type in a number at the start of a sentence. I do not want word to indent my work for me because I tab each sentence at the start. How do I stop this monster from deciding what I want it to do I am in charge of the word processor but this software seems to think that it is and it is driving me crazy.

From: Yves Dhondt on 16 Mar 2010 03:37 Try disabling autoformatting. Office button => Word Options => Proofing => AutoCorrect Options... => AutoFormat tab. For more info, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291473 Yves "Dionigi" <Dionigi(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:54B9F475-5783-4F4A-A1C8-A014A5C9A9DC(a)microsoft.com... >I do not want word to make a list just because I type in a number at the > start of a sentence. From: Russell Brogan on 17 Mar 2010 03:15 You can turn off your autoformatting, that should fix the issue.
