In Word 2007 go to Word Options and chooses Auto Correct. Under the Auto Correct tab there is a choice for "Correct accidental usage of cAPS LOCK key.

There is a registry setting that allows you to do this on WIndows POS (aka VISTA) as well. There is a setting under Word Options Auto Correct to correct accidental use of caPS LOCK key.
