It should open to "Discussions in Windows Mail". If it doesn't there's a scrollable menu on the left side of the screen - scroll to Windows Vista and the first entry I see is Windows Mail. http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail should also get you there. I'd really be interested to know how you found this forum: you're not the first to be frustrated by ending up here when trying to get help on some other program! I'd be glad to know so I can give future victims of Microsoft's unhelpful "help" better advice. -- John W. Vinson [MVP]

There's only the msnews.microsoft.com *server*, but it has thousands of (Microsoft related) newsgroups. If you want recreational newsgroups (and there are tens of thousands of them) you will need to go to an external news server. You can sign up for one for free at www.aioe.com or www.eternalseptember.org; your Internet Service Provider might offer one; there are other free and paid servers. -- John W. Vinson [MVP]
