From: D.J.B on 7 Feb 2010 06:35 I use "Fixed Length" exclusively in Sonar's Staff-View, which itself, is my main composing tool. Just lasso any number of notes, then choose from note lengths such as 1/8th, 1/16, 1/32, or midi ticks. Very useful.. I wouldn't be without it - and it's free... I was going crazy trying to do it in event view since I started using large amounts of CC:11 and CC:01 for the orchestra stuff. It also took a very long time. controlx.cal (I have it bound to CTRL+Q) will find any controller by type in a selected section. and tell me the starting and ending values and exact time range from the first to last controller of that type in the selection. So combined with the drop down menu filter it's now much easier to find and select a range of controllers for any section of time. c-ntrolr.cal Will allow me to change any selected range of controllers by any amount starting at -1 or +1. There's also a % option which I never use. The result is that I can take a complex curve of CC:11 or CC:01 that I played in using mod wheel or a fader on my S-90, and change the value of the selected area by any amount. SK
