From: Pro100Oleh on 22 Feb 2010 15:59 Problem: start the messanger or find messenger's exe file. I have windows 7 x64. When I run installer (file wlsetup-web.exe from http://windowslive.com/Desktop/Messenger site) I got message "You already have this program: Messenger". But I can't find messenger on my machine. I try next attempts: - run "msmsgs" from command line. Windows not founded this file. - Find messenger's folder in "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86)" folders - no any applicable folder.

Windows Live Messenger should be found on the Start Menu in a group called Windows Live. Typing Messenger in the search box in Vista and Windows 7 should bring it up. If, however, the install is damaged, this post may help you remove it and also reinstall it - http://messengergeek.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!E3785B1281BBDA1!3332.entry For future reference, the discussion groups for Windows Live Messenger can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windows.live.messenger&cat=en_us_0f43cf19-5af1-4912-9a55-f5ff1f9fd904&lang=en&cr=us -steve Pro100Oleh <Pro100Oleh(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >Problem: start the messanger or find messenger's exe file. >I have windows 7 x64.
