Supports PDFs now, and looks to be pretty good. I think GoodReader just
got some serious competition.

None of the other PDF reader apps I've looked at support searching
within files which is included in iBooks. Are there other apps that
include this or is Apple using a private API to enable this?

GoodReader seems to be able to do this.

So it can. I thought it was worth a 59p gamble as it seems better than
Air Sharing Pro.

I like the way iBooks presents search results with context, but then
Good Reader has PDF reflow...
