I've installed the iBooks app on Vt's iPhone (3GS, iOS 4) but all attempts to download anything to read fail hopelessly. By which I mean that the downloads appear to work, but the book isn't readable using the app, and doesn't appear on iBooks' library shelves. MST

Working fine on my 3GS. I've only downloaded some free Twain to see how it copes so far. Not as good as Stanza, imo. All have downloaded fine. > Not as good as Stanza, imo. iBooks seems quite slow opening a book up, but is OK once it is going. I'll probably get rid of Stanza and just read everything in iBooks, as all the epubs I've bought so far will work in both. -- Chris

Then the book cover appears in the other iBooks screen and I think you get the "downloading" progress bar superimposed on it. -- Chris
