Boringly I followed up with another text with the correction, but we
did have a giggle about it next day.

I really can't get used to the autocorrect - poke to cancel (rather
than accept) is exactly the opposite of what I expect, even after two
years typing on an iPhone.

I was watching my little sister tapping away on a T9-using phone
today, she was composing and sending texts at about 5 characters per
second without looking (and without a 3 keycap, come to that!). I have
a little more understanding of why some people don't like virtual
keyboards now.
