Ok - but now - how i can export a part of my folders and subfolders ( all to the same subject...) to the second library? I know, iphoto stores the originals and the "croped" (or other manipulates...) data and the "smallpics" ; all of this must be exportetd to the other library... How can i do that? I will not risk to loose dats! Thanks for any help ! Please excuse my english - i am german....

There is probably a better way to do this, but if not, you could always copy your entire library to the new one and then delete what you don't want from each. It could be very time-consuming but it is possible iPhoto allows you to delete entire sections at a time. BTW, if you are going to have multiple libraries, you should consider downloading iPhoto Library Manager. When I used iPhoto, I drove everything off of this app.

Entry is only an option-key away. There are shareware programs that take control of this process and have some other bells and whistles.
