From: Shaminda on 6 Feb 2007 22:40 I'm using Windows Mobile 5.0 (WM5) on my O2 Atom. I've been using the internet over WiFi without any problems for a while. However, some time ago Internet Explorer stopped working and now I get the following error message. "The address is not valid. Check the address and try again" By Googling the above error message I realized that many people are having the same problem without any proper solution. Just like myself all of the users are able to access the internet using mini-mo and Opera. Interesting reply that I found in http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=184040&SiteID=1 talks about "..... pocket IE will only honor "about:" protocols defined in the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft \Internet Explorer\AboutURLs ...." does this have anything to do with an IE bug? Does any of you have a solution? Thanks, Shaminda. |
