From: vijay vishwakarma on 24 Dec 2009 03:16 I sent a message and recipient found it in his junk mail folder instead of inbox. why did it happen to me ?
From: Bruce Hagen on 24 Dec 2009 10:23 It didn't happen to you, it happened to him. The recipient needs to adjust /his/ spam filters. OE doesn't have a junk mail folder anyway. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail] Imperial Beach, CA "vijay vishwakarma" <vijay.erp(a)iljin.in> wrote in message news:%2335OlFHhKHA.4872(a)TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > I sent a message and recipient found it in his junk mail folder instead > of inbox. why did it happen to me ? >
From: Michael Santovec on 24 Dec 2009 14:29 Something about your message triggered the spam filters at his mail service or on his PC. If this is a friend or relative of yours, he can probably add you to a safe sender list to make it less likely. If it happens with a lot of your messages, look at the message subject and contents. If your signature contains advertising, that could do it. If you sent the same message to lots of people at the same mail service, that could do it as well. Some spam filters key off of specific words in the subject or message body. -- Mike - http://TechHelp.Santovec.us "vijay vishwakarma" <vijay.erp(a)iljin.in> wrote in message news:#35OlFHhKHA.4872(a)TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > I sent a message and recipient found it in his junk mail folder > instead of inbox. why did it happen to me ? >
From: Corday on 24 Dec 2009 15:09 Actually a user could create a junk mail folder, but with no rules possible, it would be a waste of time unless someone wanted to drag into it and accumulate a massive pile of ???. This would be invaluable when a certain organ shrank or user wanted to make a fortune at home etc. -- I mastered Wordstar graphics! "Bruce Hagen" wrote: > It didn't happen to you, it happened to him.
