Now here: http://github.com/kennytilton/cells
Requires: http://github.com/kennytilton/utils-kt

Status: cells::test-cells passes under AllegroCL 8.2 on (yes!) Linux and
most likely Windows since I am actually installing from the latest
there. In fact, once I get into the GUI stuff (er, next) I really will
be claiming only Windows compatibility.

Patches welcome to increase portability.

Caveat: kenny does not use ASDF, so .asd files are not maintained. Look
at .lpr files for The Real Deal.

Next steps: gui-geometry, celtk (+ cells Tcl/Tk)

Not clear yet if I want to charge thru everything up to and including
Cello or cut over to qooxdoo/cells. I think I'll see how this goes
(getting celtk and then celtk-3d) up and portable and then decide.

An interesting thing here is that celtk will very much be the model for
qxells (I am looking for an unpronouncable name) because it's the same
deal: Lisp+Cells driving a fullblown application framework with a mind
of its own.

Anyone who thinks we should just do jxells (+ Cells Ajax) meaning
fighting browser differences might be able to convince me since I like
the idea of lightweight and I do not like the idea of widgets. And as
for browser differences, qooxdoo /does/ expose it's low-level core so...

Congratulations on the repository move.

FWIW, common-lisp.net does have git support.

Would you like to export all the CVS history to git?

:)

I asked and was encouraged to move to github for the SCM but carry on
with c-l.net for the web site. I added "and mailing list" on my own.

As my Mom could tell you, I am a lousy buddhist but one thing I am good
at is not acknowledging the past.

Thx, tho!
