lost icons in xfce

From: Martin on 17 Feb 2010 19:36 I seem to have lost all the icons on the xfce panel and menu (also individual programs - thunderbird/firefox, etc.) It might be something to do with some updates from sbopkg, but I don't remember updating anything related to xfce/icons/themes, etc. I'm running slackware64-current. I had the same problem some time ago with my 32bit. I'm sorry but I was not able to solvethe problem. Anyway I think you should ask in the xfce.org forum, or even search there for a similar question.. bye..

AFAICR, something had changed the access permissions on a related dir or set of files. What turned out to be the reason for it is the fact that I had removed libpng. I completely forgot about it until I noticed that actually some icons are displayed (anything apart from .png ones) thanks again -- regards Martin
