I had the same problem some time ago with my 32bit. I'm sorry but I was not able to solvethe problem. Anyway I think you should ask in the xfce.org forum, or even search there for a similar question.. bye..

AFAICR, something had changed the access permissions on a related dir or set of files. What turned out to be the reason for it is the fact that I had removed libpng. I completely forgot about it until I noticed that actually some icons are displayed (anything apart from .png ones) thanks again -- regards Martin
