Since I got SL and mail v. 4, when I do a reply to some of my mail and
try to edit it, particularly incoming copy and pastes from web sites,
material shows up in black outlined boxes with X deletes in the top left
corner. I find them to be a PITA for the most part. So far, the only
way I found to get rid of them is window>make plain text, but this often
eliminates other wanted formating, How do I get rid of this box so I
can edit the material prior to a reply?
