From: mirthcyy on 1 Mar 2010 15:01 hi, After I moved sqlagent logs to another drive (Right click Error Logs - > Configure -> change path), I found the Maintenance plans logs can't be generated any more. The job itseld on the job history runs successfully but if I right click maintenance plan-> view history-> show steps and I will see the red error: "Access to the path 'C:\ \Program Files\\Microsoft SQL Server\\MSSQL.1\\MSSQL\\LOG\ \Log_Backup_Subplan_1_20100301134505.txt' is denied." The path shows the old one. So it seems that I need to change the Maintenance plan log file location separately but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone here know? Thanks!

In SSMS, right-click the maint plan and edit it (whatever the menu choice say exactly). In here you will find a button where you can define is/where to produce the report file. -- Tibor Karaszi, SQL Server MVP http://www.karaszi.com/sqlserver/default.asp http://sqlblog.com/blogs/tibor_karaszi "mirthcyy" <mirthcyy(a)gmail.com> wrote in message news:56af5755-a107-4570-9215-77dd095a8a18(a)15g2000yqa.googlegroups.com... > hi, > > After I moved sqlagent logs to another drive (Right click Error Logs - >> Configure -> change path), I found the Maintenance plans logs can't > be generated any more.
