Compatibility wizard does not configure office 2000 to be compatible with
windows 7. any suggestions? can't afford to upgrade to office 2007 at this

If you really cannot afford anything and you don't need Outlook then get
Open Office. The latest version is far better than Office 2000 anyway....

In general I agree, but those making heavy use of VBA user-defined
functions in Excel won't enjoy trying to achieve the same results in
OpenOffice Calc.
