hello,
I've got to match a picture as a skin on a 3d shape.

the shape is obtained by laser scan, and the picture it's a jpeg by webcam.

so I have the shape of a stone with its picture. I need to cover the 3d shape in matlab to rebuild the stone in 3d.

the basic problem is that I need something like the command surf, that colors a 3d shape with the default palette, but instead of these colors I'd like to use the picture of the stone.

there are no problems about the "picture stretching" because of the stone is almost smooth/flush.

if someone could please help me...
