Hi,

I noticed that the matlab.exe proces is automatically started on
windows startup. I cannot find the entry to disable this. It's the
largest memory user after startup, so I would like to only start it
when I start Matlab.

Can anyone please tell me what it is used for and how to disable it
to achieve above mentioned functionality.

Thanx

Hi,

I only see matlabserver.exe being started automatically here. This is a
service and you can disable it by going to
start -> run -> "services.msc"

Thanx

Do you know what functionality it offers, as it is not automatically
started when starting matlab now. From the website I understand it's
a communication layer between several programs.
