dear all,
on sas pc in explorer window "member details" can be put on:
tools --> options --> explorer --> member details

when leaving sas session, this option has to be set again.

I also ended sas with "save settings on exit" without success (althoug
i have write access on sasuser and options are kept well !!!)

any suggestions???

If you're asking what I think you are asking, namely whether there is a
way to get sas to open a directory of program files in Detail mode, I
don't recall anyone having come up with an answer.

One work-around was provided in the following thread:

http://groups.google.com/group/comp.soft-
sys.sas/browse_thread/thread/aaf0cef266c6f723/223b485dd1c2ea76?
q=open+detail+group:comp.soft-sys.sas

or, in short form: http://xrl.us/bgwbbn
