From: SC Tom on 28 Feb 2010 08:22 Copy and paste it instead of clicking on it and see if it works that way. Worked fine here. It looks like a useful program. Wish I'd had about two weeks ago- I would have been able to tell you if it works well or not. I also had a pen drive that worked one day, but not the next. I use them to transfer files, but never for irreplaceable ones. -- SC Tom "lenny109" <lenny(a)thetakeout.com> wrote in message news:d7ednUzSsNsHxBfWnZ2dnUVZ8mWdnZ2d(a)pipex.net... > Hi, > That link doesn't work > > "Airman Basic" <airman_basic(a)hotmail.com> wrote in message > news:w7idnZPRGOAjdhTWnZ2dnUVZ_uOdnZ2d(a)giganews.com... >> >>> >>>> I (my daughter) have a USB Pen drive with work on it. From: lenny109 on 28 Feb 2010 12:33 I had tried connecting to the site both ways but I guess it just wasn't working at the time because I have connected OK now but still nothing is found on the card. From: lenny109 on 28 Feb 2010 12:38 OK, Nothing seems to work. What if I format the card and then try to recover files once windows recognises the drive properly again? Any chance this will work? I can see what it going on here but my daughter didn't save the documents on the hard drive first. Everything was saved on the stick. That is teenagers for you. It doesn't matter how many times you tell them to save in a number of places it doesn't go in at all. Will there be any trace of the MS Office (word) files on the computer that they were produced on even if they are actually saved directly to the memory stick?
