From: treeline sue on 29 Mar 2010 16:37 The list of available fonts with my Home and Student version of Word 2007 is nothing like the fonts MS claims are shipped with Word 2007. For example, I'm missing Gill Sans MT which used in a built-in theme. What gives?
From: Peter T. Daniels on 29 Mar 2010 17:22 When you installed Word, did you do a Custom Install? Maybe you overlooked a box somewhere that asked which fonts to install. Or do you maybe have a printer that restricts you to using fonts that are installed in the printer? Try changing your Default Printer Driver. From: Jay Freedman on 7 Apr 2010 23:08 For both you and the original poster: Gill Sans MT and a number of other fonts are NOT included in the Home & Student version. To see the list of included fonts, visit http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/product.aspx?PID=153. To see the list of products (including Office 2007 Standard and Office 2007 Professional) that do include Gill Sans MT, visit http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/font.aspx?FMID=979. This page also has a link to a page where you can buy the font separately. You can get to all the information about fonts in Microsoft products through http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/default.aspx. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
