I got ffmpeg with the install of FormatFactory. I use it to do lots of video conversions. Rather have a GUI with config options than have to remember command-line parameters. FormatFactory http://www.pcfreetime.com/ I have noticed for [conversion to] some .mp4 that WMP will play it but not RealPlayer.
