And until programmers like me start programming on Linux using something like the likes of .Net that makes it easy to program on different platforms, then Linux is really not going anywhere. But on the other hand, MS may just choke off Linux to keep Linux being used by the few. http://boycottnovell.com/2007/10/04/mono-timebomb/

M$ may or may not try to use it to attack Linux. "Mono" is open source and cannot be controlled at the whim of M$. -- Best Regards: Baron.

The problem with Open Source as well as Linux is that they have no control and is only appreciated by ones like you, the few. But are you that naive to think that MS doesn't reach far and deep? I got Linux too, and I am going to put it to you point blank. The bit^he Linux is not putting one dime in my pockets. And I suspect it's not putting one dime your pockets either. The be^etch MS has been putting $$$$$ in my pockets for years and will continue to do it for years to come. That is put $,$$$ in my pockets. Nothing against you personally, but you use those (!!!!!!) like you're a bright eyed and bushy tailed hobbyist. |
