HI everybody,

i'm trying to simulate with Simulink a multipath rician channel according to Sui model (3 taps) but i have some problem.
In fact, I obtain a better performance in terms of Ber with k factor [0 0 0] than with k factor [4 0 0] and it is impossible!
The other parameters are:
Doppler shift LOS components: [0.25 0.4 0.5]
initial phase: [0 0 0]
max diffuse Doppler: 0.5
Doppler spectrum type: rounded
Path delay: [0. 0.4 0.6]*1e-6
average power: [0 -15 -20]
Normalized power to 0 Db.

My matlab version is 7.7.0 (R2008b).

May anybody help me?

I used to have the same problem, but then I realized the problem was in the phase. Remember, the SUI channel also add phase noise and you must to correct them in Rx. See section 8.4.12.3 at IEEE 802.16-2004. I hope it's useful to you
