FYI For anyone who has looked at these old post's as a guide for logistic regression in matlab (using glmfit). I found the glm function in R to handle categorical variables much better than glmfit in matlab. So if you are looking to do a quick logistic regression analysis, and you have categorical predictors, I would recommend using R.
