Wrong! XP can use 3gig, it should be possible to get 2 x 2Gb DDR2 for around $100. Working with graphics and photos, you can't have too much RAM.

I said that, whats more any 32bit programme can only access 3.3Gb of memory even if its up on a 64bit OS with 12Gb of memory.

If it does, then you will need to get matched memory (same specification) if you want to get the benefit of dual channel. -- |
