Wrong! XP can use 3gig, it should be possible to get 2 x 2Gb DDR2 for
around $100. Working with graphics and photos, you can't have too much RAM.

I said that, whats more any 32bit programme can only access 3.3Gb of
memory even if its up on a 64bit OS with 12Gb of memory.

Check to see if the board supports dual channel memory.

If it does, then you will need to get matched memory (same
specification) if you want to get the benefit of dual channel.
